In terms of low-cost energy saving solutions, the Green Box
Power Saver can't
be beat. It's a patented energy saving device that is hooked up to your
home's electrical panel, which then optimizes the power going into your
home, allowing your appliances and equipment motors to operate more
efficiently. We believe every home (and business) should have one.
Learn how
the Green Box Power Saver saves you money on your electric bill every month.
So how does the Green Box Power Saver work? We're glad you asked! We've taken
the liberty to break the answer down into two categories: the first for
those who read the cliff notes and the other for those who like to know
what all the fine print means.
A brief
explanation of how Green Box Power Saver saves you money and electricity:
As the demand for power runs through your home, there is non-productive
current (heat) that strains your home appliances and wiring - this heat
is wasted energy that you are paying for. The Green Box Power Saver optimizes
the power that comes into your home, allowing your appliances and
equipment motors to operate more efficiently. This reduces heat (wasted
electricity), which in turn lowers your electric bill, reduces the
chance of fires, and increases the life of your appliances and motorized
equipment. It protects against power surges and increases the capacity
to the electrical panel by making it run cooler.
The
longer, "more complicated" explanation of how Green Box Power
Saver saves you
money and electricity:
When a motor starts, it asks the utilities transformer for power
(voltage and amperage) to run. This demand for power starts in the
motor, runs through the wiring, panel box, meter and down the lines to
the transformer where it heats up and strains the motor and wiring. This
heat (I2R losses) is called watts. The Green Box Power Saver, once installed,
stores and releases energy to the motor it needs to function properly.
This reduces heat on the wires and the motor. Reducing this heat, will
lower your electric bill, increase the life of the motor and reduce the
chances of fire.
The Green Box Power Saver corrects power factor, by reducing the amount
of reactive power that the load draws from the utility company.
Green Box Power Saver store the reactive power needed for the creation
of the EMF within the inductive load. As the motor operates, this
reactive power is "pulled" and "pushed" to and from the Green Box
Power Saver by the motor. The amount of reactive power purchased from the utility
company by power factor optimization has been greatly reduced, or
eliminated.
Power Suppliers benefit by being able to supply power to more customers
without the generation or acquisition of additional power, and reduces
capital expenditures by leveraging the existing infrastructure.
The technology applied by the Green Box Power Saver reclaims, stores and
supplies power to inductive motors and loads. This process provides the
reactive power required to establish the electromagnetic field
(EMF) around the inductive windings of a motor, while reclaiming and
recycling the power during the normal working phase. The power reclaimed
and recycled by the Green Box Power Saver Unit would normally be pushed back
through the power distribution lines.
As a result of providing reactive power locally, motors run
cooler and more efficient. This equates to substantial savings on your
electric bill and longer equipment life.
