How does the KVAR Energy Controller (EC) help me save money ?
As the demand for power runs through your home, there is non-productive
current (heat) that strains your home appliances and wiring - this heat
is wasted energy that you are paying for. The Green Box KVAR Power Saver
optimizes the power that comes into your home, allowing your
appliances and equipment motors to operate more efficiently. This
reduces heat (wasted electricity), which in turn lowers your electric
bill, reduces the chance of fires, and increases the life of your
appliances and motorized equipment. The KVAR reclaims, stores, recycles
and supplies power to all inductive motor loads. As you have already
paid for this electricity, why waste a percentage of your investment.
With the KVAR Energy Controller, energy can be stored and released when
needed. This whole process is called energy optimization.
OK, so what
exactly is an inductive load ?
Inductive loads use magnetic fields to operate (i.e. motors,
solenoids, and relays) So chances are if it moves, it's probably an
inductive load. The biggest examples of inductive motors are air
conditioning units, pool pumps, well pumps, refrigerators, freezers,
washers, dryers, and dishwashers all the way down vacuum cleaners,
furnace blower motors, computer fans, ceiling fans, and even a hair
dryer has an inductive load. Now think about all those cancerous causing

KVAR PFC provides that, if within twelve (12) years from purchase date,
this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, KVAR PFC
will repair or exchange the affected unit free of charge.
The warranty does not apply to damages caused by:

Accidental mishandling,
dropping or other types of physical abuse

Units which have been
opened, taken apart or subjected to unauthorized repair

Units which have not
been installed or used in accordance with instructions

Riots, civil
disturbances, war or any other "Acts of God"
This warranty does not apply
to damages claimed in excess of the cost of a replacement unit, and
although this warranty outlines specific legal rights, your actual
rights may vary from state to state.
How long
will the Green Box KVAR Power Saver last ?
With the exceptional quality and high standard of components used,
coupled with the fact that there are no moving parts, predicted life
span is about 25 years.
Does
the Green Box KVAR Power Saver work in any home ?
Yes it does, as long as you have a circuit breaker panel with breaker
switches and not the old screw in type fuses, the unit will work on any
single-phase electric application for homes. For larger homes, we will
need to size your home to ensure that you get a unit that covers all the
amperage being used.
Do you have any Green Box KVAR Power Saver units that can be used in
commercial or industrial businesses ?
Of course we do! Systems are available for 3 phase 200 and 400 amp panel
mount applications, as well as for the more commercial applications as
utilized in large induction motor assemblies. Green Box KVAR Power Saver
has a patented apparatus and methodology for determining the exact
amount of capacitance that is needed to optimize inductive motors to
achieve maximum savings. These larger three phase motors would generally
have the Green Box KVAR Power Saver installed at the motors’
disconnect, after first having trained electricians carry out an
individual sizing of the respective motors. This exact science enables
the commercial customer to achieve the quickest return on investment (ROI).

I live in an apartment, can I use a Green Box KVAR Power Saver unit ?
The Green Box KVAR Power Saver can be used on the A/C in the common
areas (i.e. leasing office, meeting rooms, etc.) as well as the pool
and/or hot tub pumps. However for each individual unit there isn't
enough amp draw if they have their own panels and too much draw if each
apartment runs off one central panel.
Will the Green Box KVAR Power Saver adversely affect any of my
appliances and their normal use ?
No, if anything, your motors will run about 10% cooler, which is
good for a motor because heat is the enemy of a motor causing them to
burn out over time. The Green Box KVAR Power Saver will typically extend
the life of motors by 15% or more.
Does the Green Box KVAR Power Saver have any effect on my computer or
other electronics ?
Yes. The Green Box KVAR Power Saver's technology and voltage regulation
actually cleans up dirty power within the home which is better for
computers and electronics as well as anything else powered within the
home. Additionally, the Green Box KVAR Power Saver's surge and spike
protection helps protect all electrical devices.
We're moving, can we take the Green Box KVAR Power Saver with us ?
Absolutely! In fact we would be happy to uninstall the unit at your
current home and reinstall it at your new residence for a nominal fee.

Nope. Your Green Box KVAR Power Saver can not make a distinction between
power sources. As far as the Green Box KVAR Power Saver is concerned,
electricity is electricity. It makes no difference where the electricity
comes from so it will have no negative effect on the source nor will it
be effected by the source. The Green Box KVAR Power Saver does however
have a very positive effect on the power source by enhancing the
capacity of the power source because less amps and watts are being
utilized.

protection ?
The Green Box KVAR Power Saver also protects the entire home against
