Light Emitting Diodes (LED) are the modern alternative to incandescent lights that offer many benefits:
- Less energy use – LED lights use about one tenth of the energy of incandescent bulbs
- Reduce energy cost
- Longer lasting – LED lights can last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights.
- Brighter light – Diodes provide a purer white light than older lighting technologies and can be installed to create a variety of lighting styles and solutions.
- LED is “green” compared to older technologies – the original mercury vapor bulbs carry the long-term risk of mercury contamination. LED contains no mercury.
